Justin Ashley Wins in Norwalk

Justin Ashley powered his SCAG Power Equipment Toyota Top Fuel dragster to victory at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals in Norwalk, Ohio, earning his second win of the 2025 season and 17th of his Top Fuel career. Ashley secured the win on a holeshot in the final round against Clay Millican, thanks to a sharp .027-second reaction time and a 3.931-second pass at 317.34 mph.

Ashley qualified No. 1 and advanced through tough competition, defeating Scott Farley, Josh Hart, and Shawn Langdon to reach his third consecutive final. His semifinal matchup with Langdon mirrored their battle in Virginia, but this time Ashley came out on top with a 3.935-second run.

The victory at Norwalk was especially meaningful for Ashley, whose father won there in 2007. He praised his team for managing the hot and tricky track conditions, crediting crew chiefs Mike Green and Tommy DeLago for their efforts. Teammates Daniel Wilkerson and Dave Richards each made it to the Funny Car quarterfinals.

The NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series continues July 18–20 at the NHRA Northwest Nationals near Seattle.
