Four Wins in a Row: Rispoli Captures Super Hooligan Championship
James Rispoli powered his Harley-Davidson Pan America ST to victory at Mid-Ohio, securing the 2025 Mission Super Hooligan National Championship in dramatic fashion. The double-header season finale delivered close racing, unexpected setbacks, and a championship battle that came down to the wire.
Saturday Sprint Win
The first race of the weekend was red-flagged on the opening lap, setting up a five-lap sprint. Jake Lewis jumped to the early lead, but Rispoli timed his move perfectly and took control by lap three. He never looked back, taking the win and cutting into the points lead of Cory West, who suffered mechanical issues and finished seventh. Dominic Doyle celebrated his first career Super Hooligan podium in third, while Corey Alexander impressed with a fourth-place finish aboard the new Arch motorcycle.
Sunday Title Decider
In the season’s final race, Lewis once again led the opening laps with Rispoli and West in pursuit. The title fight ended abruptly when West’s motorcycle faltered just two laps from the finish, eliminating his championship hopes. Rispoli held off a late challenge from Lewis, crossing the line less than a second ahead to seal both the race win and the national championship.
A Season of Momentum
Rispoli’s road to the title was defined by determination and consistency. After sitting fifth in the standings mid-season and trailing by more than 50 points, a breakthrough double win at Laguna Seca turned the tide. From there, he delivered four consecutive victories to close out the season, finishing with seven podiums and his first-ever Super Hooligan national title.
